Fullset $70 · Fill $60. A temporary shaping method.
Dual Form describes an application method, not one universal gel formula. A temporary shaping mold is placed over compatible gel, cured, and removed so the sculpted enhancement remains. At Element 16, choose the exact Fullset or Fill entry and tell us about any existing product before booking.

Know Before You Book
A Dual Form is a reusable shaping mold used during application. With a compatible builder, hybrid or other gel system, the product is placed into or under the form, cured, and the mold is removed. The mold is not a full-cover tip left attached. Because Dual Form describes the method, the product used determines the right cure, maintenance and removal guidance.

Choose this 60-minute entry for maintenance and rebalance of a suitable existing enhancement. A Fill does not refill a plastic mold; it maintains the product already on the nail.

Your artist assesses the natural nail and existing enhancement, confirms the compatible gel system, and identifies any removal, repair, length or shape time.
The product is placed with the selected mold to create the intended contour, then cured according to the actual gel system in use.
After curing, the temporary mold is removed. The artist refines the shape and applies the selected color, French, chrome, matte or design add-on.

Builder Gel names the structured gel product or service. A Dual Form can be used with compatible builder or hybrid gel, so the two ideas can overlap: one describes the method and the other describes the product or catalog service.

No. Dual Form describes the application method. The compatible builder, hybrid or other gel system determines the cure, maintenance and removal guidance.
Compatible gel systems may be used with a dual-form method. The artist should confirm the actual product system and technique used at your appointment; research of a manufacturer does not mean Element uses that manufacturer.
Describe the existing product, its age and condition. The artist will confirm whether it is suitable for a fill or whether removal and a new service are more appropriate.
No. Gel-X uses a soft-gel full-cover tip that remains attached. A Dual Form is a temporary mold removed after the compatible gel cures.
Removal depends on the actual product system. Ask the salon for the product-specific plan and never peel, pry or force the enhancement off at home.
